"Your brilliant writing is our magic wand." What a lovely comment from a client chosen as a finalist in the ACSA Aged Care NSW/ACT State Awards on the strength of the award submission Marjorie helped them prepare.

In early April, Marjorie transitioned from being Arts Editor to being Assistant Managing Editor for the South Sydney Herald – a good use of her skills.

Her other highlights included: writing two pieces for Pedagogy magazine for early childhood educators about classical music being an excellent way to connect young children with the changing seasons; interviewing three leaders about how they integrate faith and work, and writing case studies for NCLS Research; and interviewing aged care managers about the 8 New Aged Care Standards being rolled out on July 1.

Stephen took some fantastic photos at this year’s Sydney Writers’ Festival, including a Little Fictions event. He’s also been doing some social media and promotional work for Common Dreams 2019.

He reviewed Julia Holter’s latest album Aviary, Blood Blossoms’ album 2003, and Bona Fide by The Soul Movers. See his pics from a Soul Movers gig – and spot Murray Cook who was the red Wiggle for many years – and the Football Writers Festival.

At Settlement Services International he scripted a video promo for a fundraising event, rewrote some policies, and wrote and edited a lot of content for blogs, media and social media.
